Highwoods had 4 members playing in the Essex Teambowl at Gt Bentley Village Hall on Sunday 9th February 2025, and there was success for 3 of our players.
All players are split into teams, of ten on the day, and the appointed team Captain's allocate each player to play as a Single/Pair/Triple/Four.
All Players play five games and the best Discipline and the overall Team winners, win the Prizes/Medals.
Diane Orrin was one of the Team Captain's and her team won the overall Team prize with a total of 25 points for all disciplines (two points ahead of the runners up).
Additionally Sheila Near played in the Triples with Jan Richardson (Elmstead Market) & Stephen Woodley (Lawford) and they won 4 of their five games to win the triples prize.
Peter Orrin played in the Pairs with Wendy Gillman (Hunters) and also won 4 of their five games to win the Pairs prize.
It was an excellent and enjoyable day.
