We held our first Highwoods Members' Club Competition since covid on Thursday 13th October 2022
It was good to be back playing a competitive evening of bowls with 21 members taking part
It meant that we had five teams of 3 players and three teams of 2 players all playing three matches during the evening
The teams were drawn at random, and many close matches were played
The final results saw all teams scoring at least a point and two unbeaten teams
Irene Rule & Sheila Near won all 3 matches to win the competition with 6 points and 30 shots with Joan Siversword & Peter Orrin as runners up winning 2 matches and drawing the other with 5 points and 18 shots
Our Chairperson Diane Orrin presented the prizes to the winners after a good evening
