The Club held it's Annual Summer Competition on Thursday 13th July. The event was very well supported as usual, with 34 in attendance and 32 taking part. The competition format consisted of three rounds of games with six ends in each game. Congratulations to the joint winners, Joan Silversword and Terry Reeves who both scored 25 points. In third place was Linda Spinks with 23 points and in joint fourth place with 21 points were Chris Woodrow, John Essex and John Woodrow. The evening concluded with a feast of scones, strawberries, cream and jam prepared and served by members of the committee. |
