Highwoods entered a team in the 2024 Essex Fours at Gt Bentley on Sunday 17th November and they had a good day.
All competing teams played four matches in the group stages before the group winners & runners up moved into the knock out stages.
The Team of Brenda Kettle/Sheila Near/Diane Orrin/Peter Orrin won three & drew one match in their group stages to move into the knock stages.
Their fine form continued into the early knock out stages where they reached the semi finals.
However the semi final proved one game too many for the Highwoods four after six undefeated matches.
