As winners of the 2024/25 Colchester League, the Club qualified for the Essex League Finals. These were held on 4th May at the Gt Bentley Village Hall along with the winners of the other four Essex leagues.
Each team played the other four teams throughout the day in the usual league format of two pairs and two fours.
Highwoods performed very well against this stiff opposition and finished the day in second place, an excellant acheivement to which all of our squad of 13 members contributed.

A special mention must go to the Highwood's second Four of Brenda Kettle, John Woodrow, Glenyce King and Martin Bennet who were the only team on the day to win all of their games, finishing with 8 points, 50 shots for and only 12 shots against.
