The evening started as usual with the competition which consisted of eight teams, each playing two games of seven ends.
Two teams won both of their games but the honours went to the team of Ray Spencer (skip), Margaret Stewart and Linda Spinks on points scored, congratulations to them. Well done also to the runners up - Martin Bennet (skip), Heidi Woolley, Marilyn Bennet and David Rule.
The evening concluded with a feast of scones, strawberries, cream and jam prepared and served by members of the committee.
